Refund Policy

At Nowgong College, we strive to provide transparent and efficient online payment services for students, applicants, and other users.

1. Fee Payments

All payments made through the college online portal towards:

• Admission Fees
• Examination Fees
• Registration Fees
• Hostel Fees
• Application Fees
• Other Institutional Charges

are generally non-refundable, except in cases mentioned below.

2. Duplicate / Excess Payment

If a user makes multiple payments for the same transaction or excess payment due to a technical error, the excess amount may be refunded after verification by the college accounts department.

3. Failed Transactions

In case the payment amount is deducted from the bank account but the transaction is unsuccessful:

• The amount is usually automatically refunded by the bank/payment gateway within 5–10 working days.
• If the refund is not received within the stipulated time, users may contact the college office with transaction details.

4. Cancellation of Admission / Service

Refund related to admission cancellation or withdrawal shall be governed by the rules and regulations of the college and applicable university/Government guidelines.

5. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7–15 working days and credited to the original payment method used during the transaction.
